Tinkering again :)

April 5th, 2005

I love this site. I wish that I was posting more regularly but alas, I am not. So what I need is a way to plop quick hits from websites I see down here.

May be time to cobble up a side bar or a javascript mess that put*s it at my fingertips.

Or I could just keep the admin panel open in a seperate tab. *sigh* its no fun to do things the simple way but sometimes its best.

Google Gulp: And yes, its April 1st

April 1st, 2005

Google Gulp could be the next big thing. Or it could be gone by April second. So click early and click often. :)

Think a DNA scanner embedded in the lip of your bottle reading all 3 gigabytes of your base pair genetic data in a fraction of a second, fine-tuning your individual hormonal cocktail in real time using our patented Auto-Drink™ technology, and slamming a truckload of electrolytic neurotransmitter smart-drug stimulants past the blood-brain barrier to achieve maximum optimization of your soon-to-be-grateful cerebral cortex. Plus, it*s low in carbs!

Even my calendar is messing with me

April 1st, 2005

So for Christmas I got a Mensa daily puzzle calendar for my desk. Mostly its little teasers that take a few minutes to puzzle out.

Today, in my overly sleepy state, I look at the puzzle and figure it out in 30 seconds flat. Feeling cocky I check the answer.

How many cubic feet of dirt in a hole three feet long by three feet wide by nine feet deep?

Easy stuff, convert to yards gives us a space that is 1x1x3 so 3 cubic yards. With supreme confidence I flip the page only to learn…

Answer: None. Its a hole!

Nothing worse than a smart ass calendar.
