Is it wrong that I desperately want the cast recording of this show that I hadn’t even heard of until 10 minutes ago? My birthday’s only a few months away, all. *hint, hint*

A jubilant cast of children celebrate the controversial religion in uplifting pageantry and song. The actual teachings of The Church of Scientology are explained and dissected against the candy-colored backdrop of a traditional nativity play.

    Sadly enough, from reading Sadly enough, from reading the descriptions of this I can’t tell whether they are mocking Scientology or not.  I suppose that anything dealing with Scientology could be considered inherently mocking, but one never knows.

    If you go to the show’s If you go to the show’s website, I think it’s pretty clear that they’re mocking. Of course, some of that is difficult to see because of the BRIGHT YELLOW BACKGROUND they chose for the site. Good god, my eyes are bleeding!
